Local, fresh, and responsible
At Farm to Pup, we create fresh, locally sourced dog meals, toppers, and treats using ingredients fit for human consumption from small farms in the Northern Colorado Front Range, ensuring the best nutrition and supporting climate resilience through responsible sourcing.

Nutrition sourced from the Northern Front Range
Humane and regenerative practices
Our mission is to contribute to climate resilience by strengthening local food systems. We use seasonal, nutrient-rich ingredients that are responsibly grown and sourced from family-owned farms committed to regenerative agricultural practices and humane animal treatment.
Our sourcing
We carefully select suppliers that are either certified USDA organic, or that do not use pesticides and herbicides and that implement regenerative practices, and ranchers that practice humane treatment of farm animals.
Our recipes change with the seasons. Since we work with small local farms, availability can vary depending on their harvests.
Responsible packaging
At Farm to Pup we strive to reduce as much waste as possible throughout the manufacturing process by using compostable bags and labels for our packaging.
Reuse or compost our bags in your own backyard!

Our story
Angela L. Medina Garcia, PhD, is the founder of Farm to Pup—a dog lover, good-food champion, and research biologist with more than 20 years of experience in the lab and in the kitchen. She believes the smartest way to fight climate change starts close to home. By strengthening local food systems, we build resilient communities and lighten our environmental footprint. That belief sparked Farm to Pup: fresh, local meals, toppers and treats that give dogs the best possible nutrition for long, healthy lives—while caring for the planet that cares for us.
Angela lives in Longmont, Colorado with her husband, two kids, and two pups, Sole and Rosso.
